Michael Hallam

Michael is an emerging writer with a real passion for his craft. Having graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in English, Michael has gained a wide variety of writing experience. He has written for local newspapers, magazines, an online newspaper and regularly writes and presents his own radio show.

He currently contributes to four blogs though most of his work can be found at www.housingenergyadvisor.com and www.hipconsultant.co.uk. His interest in energy saving began when he was a student and had to pay his own utility bills for the first time! Since then he has developed his knowledge and is actively involved in local energy projects. He enjoys producing different styles of features from breaking down technical subject matter to light hearted pieces helping consumers find the best gadgets and deals.

When he is not blogging Michael loves sport and presenting his radio show. He has knowledge on almost all sports, and writes match reports for the local football team for whom he plays. Polluting the airwaves on a local community radio station he presents ‘Mike’s Music Medley’ in which he takes a look at all kinds of music with regular features for his hearty band of listeners.

Michael’s ambition is to have a successful writing career and hopefully work for a magazine. He also wants to help people save as much energy as they can and write about a time when the country is greener than ever before. Find his work and feel free to comment – he would love to hear from you.
